I’m heading out to Tree Elle Retreat this Saturday for the wedding of a couple of “country kids” – so I thought this week, I’d share Stevie & Harvey’s fabulous wedding in the build up! I had a chat with Stevie and this is what she had to say about the day…
We met online via RSVP and had our first date at Narembeen Pub. Harvey proposed in our crop of lupins. We just love it down south and Denmark isn’t too far from Newdegate so we decided to get married at Tree Elle Retreat.
Have a wedding planner friend to help – I was so lucky to have one and she made things much easier she was amazing. Everything about our wedding was just the way I always imagined (…except for the rain at night during our reception). There had to be dashed of purple everywhere as it’s my favourite colour. I tried to go for a bit of a country rustic farm theme because that’s where we live but it ended up a bit more glamorous than that and I loved it
The beautiful love ring photo booth Harvey’s mum made us was beyond exquisite 💜
Our speeches were my favourite moment – I wish we had of had a videographer to capture them all so we could relive them all the time! It is just too hard to choose that out of over 900 photos – haha – I love them all but if I had to choose favourites, they would be any of the ones of just Harvey & myself. Also, there is a black and white one of my mum walking me down from the house to the garden on the way to the isle.
For our Honeymon, we went to Pemberton for a few days it was very relaxing and beautiful (it is also where my parents went on their honeymoon!)
