It was one of those magical days when it drizzled all morning so everything was fresh and smelt as only the Denmark bush does when it’s been soaked with a downpour. And then it stopped! And the sun came out, and these two got married. PERFECTION!
I had a chat with Jo about their wedding day and here I share some of her comments. But my favourite comment from her was simply…
“It was the best thing we’ve ever done.”
Well, it doesn’t get any better than that 🙂
How did it all begin?
We met in Perth through family when Nathan needed a place to stay for TAFE. Nathan proposed at home after a lovely dinner at a restaurant I had been asking him to take me to.
Did you choose a particular theme?
No – just a colour palette of champagne, blush and navy.
Rockcliffe Winery was a great venue, especially for a photographer. What made you chose it?
We liked the wine and wanted the ceremony and reception to be at the same venue and close to Denmark.
Tell us about any special touches/mentions/family traditions at your wedding.
Mum and dad walked me down the aisle and we had a candle burning for those who we have lost.
What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
Seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony.
And your favourite photo?
Our first kiss of course – because it’s perfect <3
What one wedding planning tip would you give other brides/couples?
Don’t sweat the small stuff and let others help you 🙂
