Oh, this wedding was a real treat to photograph! But I’ll let the photos do the talking… and also Jenna!  While she  & Kerrin were on their honeymoon, off the coast of Phuket on a small island with stunning views, Jenna reflected on their magic day.

Here it is in her words;

Tell us a bit about your wedding.

We are still on a high from our wedding day and think we will for a while. It was a once in a lifetime event for us, having everyone together.

We both absolutely love the ocean and we were set on ocean views from the beginning. Giving the wedding was going to be in Albany, we wanted the option of an indoor location as Plan B in case there was a turn in the weather.

How did you two meet?

We met at a wheatbelt pub in 2012 when Jenna was backpacker. Kerrin proposed after moving to Albany in 2016 when we went for a hike.

Tell us about your wedding style / theme and any other special touches?

I wasn’t really set on picking a “theme” but after looking at Pinterest and collecting decorations, I suppose you’d call it rustic.  A very “special touch” at our wedding was the personal ceremony. We loved how Anna told our story for our guests but it also reminded us of how far we’ve come and the hurdles we’ve leaped over.  Looking around at the ceremony and seeing our loved ones from all over the world in one location. (The others joined by an invite only Facebook live video)

Do you have any especially favourite photos?

The ones of Kerrin and I at the beach together. We seem ( and we’re) smitten and the background is stunning.  Also, the photos of us under the tree at Carlyles and under the arbor at Quaranup… spectacular!

Any advice to other couples planning their wedding?

  1. Don’t sweat the small stuff.
  2. Enjoy each others company.

Another factor that contributed to our day being so special we’re the wonderful people we hired to be part of the day. Our photographer, celebrant, hair/makeup artists, florist, and venue people made us feel so incredibly special. It was amazing to be surrounded by so many friendly people who genuinely seemed happy for us.
