I was thrilled when Kelsy contacted me to photograph their wedding at Alkoomi, Frankland as I married a “Frankland Boy”, so I always love an excuse to head back into that part of the region.    This wedding was so much fun  – a great bridal party (and lots of “artwork” to photograph!)

Here’s more about it from Kelsy….

      A word from Kelsy.

We met through friends who couldn’t believe we had never met after sharing the same friends for quite some time. A rocky drive to Cheynes Back Beach and one filthy big diamond later.

Our Aunt and Uncle run the Winey Alkoomi, and we love the big family get together a where everyone stays, hence t he Easter long weekend.

We weren’t very traditional or nostalgic unfortunately! But we had a few tattooed people around the place. And beards. My gold glitter theme I suppose was a special touch. We planned a relaxed informal garden party (come inside a room party due to April’s unpredictable weather)

FAVOURITE MOMENTS OF THE DAY: The chilling out enjoying ourselves with friends for the pre – reception pics, so fun and enjoyable

FAVOURITE PHOTO: There is one side angled black and white of our dance floor and we are a bit smitten and you can see the fairy lights in the back and everyone dancing.

HONEYMOON: We hopped over to Bali for a week and laid around

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES GETTING MARRIED:  Be flexible. Be calm. Delegate. Have good bridesmaids who hold the crisis problems from you till the day has passed

We had a fantastic day and loved every minute of the relaxed affair, but we will never do it again!!
